"At the heart of effective technology integration, technology offers opportunities to be more actively involved in the learning experience " An inter-school event TECHTOPIA 2019 and ATAL TINKERING FEST 2019 was hosted by Ryan International School , Rohini with the sole objective of bringing a change in the world of technology . This Event was held on 12th July '19 on the theme "LEARN ,CODE , EXPLORE " The flagship event of Ryan Rohini armed to provide young teachers a conducive environment to innovate and create , as it is true that "TECHNOLOGY ALONE ISN'T GOING TO IMPROVE STUDENTS ACHIEVEMENTS THE BEST COMBINATION IS GREAT TEACHERS WORKING WITH TECHNOLOGY TO ENGAGE STUDENTS IN THE PURSUIT OF THE LEARNING THEY NEED ” 18 schools from Delhi participated with great gusto and enthusiasm . The event was judged by eminent people from different walks of life . The prominent among them were Dr. Shilpa Khatri Babbar , director student welfare and academics and Ms. Kritika Verma , senior manager , M power global STEM education , Mr. Yashwant Mahajan , photography expert , Mr Yash Mudgal and Mr. Shivansh Chanana . The skills of design thinking that the students learnt through workshop were implemented in creating prototypes and presenting them to the judges from STEM and Pick -o-hot events were a prominent part of this grand initiative . The competition gave ample opportunities to the budding techies to bring out their talent . These types of events will help them towards building a generation of young student innovators at the grass root level with the ‘ I AM INNOVATOR ' attitude and mindset.
