Let’s salute the nation on the auspicious day.
73rd Independence Day was celebrated with much nationalistic fervour in Ryan International School ,Rohini on 14 August 2019.
The day started by seeking the blessings of the Lord Almighty followed by welcome speech in different languages and a mesmerising welcome dance.
In the celebrations one could witness the national spirit of festivity, gratification, honour and hope for a better future. The highlights of the assembly included street play, Thought enactment and role play.A melodious rendition of patriotic songs was presented by the students under the auspice of the music department. Our guest of honour Colonel S.K.Verma was accorded a warm welcome by the school principal along with the members of Parliament, contingents of NCC, school Band, Eco club and the road safety club.
Our esteemed guest boosted the morale of the children and urged them to grow up into dutiful citizens.
The program reached its fitting culmination with a stunning dance performance. The principal’s words of wisdom emphasised the unenviable contribution children can make in nation building.
Indeed ,it was a day of elation, a day of love and respect for the country.
