Ryan Sharjah Minithon

Date : 16 November, 2019 To cherish the experience of living in a multicultural society, Ryan International School, Sharjah conducted the ‘Run for Tolerance’ a Minithon, on Saturday, November 23, 2019 coinciding with the International Day of Tolerance & 150 years of celebration of the Mahatma. The Run For Tolerance was supported by the Consulate General of India. The Minithon was flagged off by eminent personalities –Mr. Pankaj Bhodke Consulate of Education,Indian Embassy, Mr. Ridwan Hasan Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia, CEO Mr. Ryan Pinto & the local RTA officials. A total of 2000 students and adults participated in the race. 60 winners in various categories were awarded with Medals and Certificates. All participants also enjoyed the on the spot drawing competition depicting the theme of tolerance with Funon Art group. The guests of Honor who presided over the prize distribution function included Mr. Adel.A.Ali CEO of Air Arabia, Mohammad Khalifa Al Swedi-Director of community relations, Mr. E.P Johnson-President Indian Association Sharjah & other eminent personalities.
