Onam Celebration

Date : 06 September, 2019 Onam is celebrated with great pomp and pride. It’s the festival of harvest where mother nature rewards the farmer for their hard work. The beauty of the festival lies in its secularism. The people all over Kerala celebrate Onam irrespective of their caste, creed or religion. It’s a celebration of joy and oneness. The students dressed up in traditional dress and filled the campus with the fragrance of fresh flowers. An intrinsic floral decoration known as pookalam was laid in the campus. The enactment of the king Mahabali was also displayed along with the traditional dance and songs. A well-planned special assembly was conducted and the blend of culture, tradition and history was memorized. Students in Montessori section brought traditional snacks, shared among the friends
