The Independence Day has a special place in the heart of every Indian. Not only does it symbolize the celebration of wonderful years of freedom but also extends an emphatic message of the progressive future of our country. Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect at Ryan International School, Masma. The celebrations started with the march past led by the student council after which the Indian flag was hoisted by the Chief Guests. A cultural programme was arranged inside the school premises. Where the teachers and students collaborated to arrange a splendid event on the occasion of Independence Day Soon after the salutation the National Anthem was sung with fervour. The little ones paid their respect to the tricolour and sang “Laherado”. Students of Nestlings performed gracefully on “Vandemataram” and enthralled everyone present. The celebration ended with the National Anthem being sung by everyone. This event was full of patriotism and enthusiasm that kindled a sense of love for our country within the children. It also reminded us of the immense sacrifices of those who gave up their lives for the freedom of India.
The program culminated with Vote of Thanks. At the end sweets were distributed to the students. Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and Unity in Diversity.
