Mahatma Gandhi once proclaimed, “It is my conviction that nothing enduring can be built on violence.” It’s a proverb that’s often used consistently at this institution to promote harmony and peace.
Paying rich tributes to our ‘Father of the Nation’, Ryan International School, Mayur Vihar held a very special assembly on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti Celebration to spread the message of love, peace and non- violence as propagated by the great messenger of peace and Ahimsa. Children from Montessori level and teachers came dressed up in Khadi as envisaged by Gandhiji. Students highlighted the Gandhian philosophy and principles. Mr. Sachin, a National Award recipient, a playwright and theatre director and Mr. Lakshmi Das, a writer, graced the occasion. The atmosphere was charged with patriotic fervour and genuine gratitude for the great man who has inspired generations of Indians to follow in his footsteps.
