Being a Ryanite is always a proud moment of life. Reason for this is a very simple one, my school has played a huge role in my self-development. My school gave me the much needed confidence and encouragement to chase my dreams and at the same time to be disciplined, along with being able to tackle the challenges of life. In all, I have so many memories to cherish; experiences that make me whatever I am today. I am a Proud Ryanite.
Character is not ready-made, but is created bit by bit and day by day. For me school is not just a building with 4 walls, it is a place where the fondest childhood memories are made. We find life’s greatest treasures- friends, teachers and most of all, knowledge in these four walls. I couldn’t be more glad saying that I am a part of the Ryan family. This Institution has blessed me with knowledge and a lifetime of memories for which just a thank you would not be enough. I have spent the most precious years of my life here and couldn’t be more proud.
My name is Arushi Parwal and I have become a Judicial Officer and joined the prestigious Delhi Judicial Services in June, 2019 by clearing the Delhi Judicial Service Examination. As has always been said, “School is a temple of learning”. Indeed, Ryan International School (MayurVihar) has been my school for fourteen years and my temple of learning during the said period. As an institution, Ryan International School has contributed to my all-round development. I have not only learned the course studies but also attitude-building, extra-curricular skills, team work, ethical approach towards work and societal responsibility as a student at Ryan. I am forever grateful to both my alma mater, Ryan International School and ILS Law College, for providing me the platform to gain knowledge of my subjects, hone my skills and enhance my personality. This platform has brought me many milestones and cheers and eventually helped me realise professional success. I would also like to extend a heartfelt special thanks to my teachers and professors, with whose invaluable and immense contribution, I have accomplished my dreams.
My Alma Mater Ryan International School, Mayur Vihar has given me the dream to achieve great heights, with utmost sincerity. The exposure I got through various activities like performing at the International Children’s Festival of Performing Arts, where we got to perform at National School of Drama, helped me to evolve as a confident person. I stand indebted to all my mentors who helped shape my career towards a fruitful and meaningful path. Whatever I have achieved today, has been with the foundation and ethos I gained at my school. “As an Alumnus of Ryan, I stand indebted to the school, our Chairman Sir, Managing Director Madam, my mentors and my teachers for helping me find my love for performing arts. It was at school, at the International Children’s Festival of Performing Arts, that I was given an opportunity to perform on stage for the first time, and since then there has been no turning back. Right from learning my ABC’s in Kindergarten to appearing for my board exams in class XII, the teachers here have always stood by me as rocks of support and strength. Today I write and direct plays across the country and on being asked about my alma mater I proudly say that I am a Ryanite and will always be one”

I spent my 14 years of life in Ryans and I can proudly say that the lessons which I learnt here remain with me till date. No one can realize the importance of a school in one’s life until they go out into the real world and join the mad rat race of life. Well, Ryans has helped me to be more confident, smart, honest and responsible person in every possible way. I am proud to be a Ryanite and I can gladly say that we, Ryanites shine bright and create a special place for ourselves wherever we go! I miss my school and if given a chance to go back in time I would gladly go back to relive my most memorable and precious days of my life here.
The time I spent at Ryans is a time I will forever cherish . Although we underestimate the impact that of our schooling experience on our lives, we learn later how the smallest of experiences in school have the most profound influence. Be it the serious focus on discipline, supportive teachers, extensive extra curricular opportunities or the national and international level exposure given at Ryan events; all of them had a significantly positive impact to professional and personal life I am building for myself today. I am indeed indebted to our Founder Chairman Sir Dr. A. F. Pinto and Managing Director Madam Dr. Grace Pinto for giving us such a futuristic schooling experience at Ryan Mayur Vihar.
