Kargil Diwas was celebrated with great zeal and fervor by the students of Ryan International School, Bolpur. Students of classes I to X participated in the event. A parade was organized within the school. An army major, Major Balaji Suryavanshi informed the students of the importance of the day and the story inspiring victory at Kargil. He also conselled the students about joining the army and talked about the procedure to become a commissioned officer in the army. More than 300 students participated in the event.
