Plantation Drive With Rotary Club

Date : 04 September, 2025 In a remarkable step towards promoting environmental conservation and sustainability, Ryan International School, Bannerghatta organized a Plantation Drive in collaboration with the Rotary Bangalore Orchards. The initiative aimed to inspire students to contribute actively to protecting the environment and building a greener, cleaner planet.
The event was graced by eminent dignitaries from Rotary Bangalore Orchards, including Mr. Ravishankar Dakoju, noted Indian philanthropist, Mr. Neil Michael Joseph, distinguished environmental leader, Mr. Farooq E Azam, Founder & Managing Director of Bizz World Technologies, and Mr. Javed Ahmed Khatib, 3rd Dan Black Belt and State-level Weightlifter. Their presence inspired students to take responsibility for nurturing and preserving nature.
The dignitaries, along with the school management, teachers, and students, participated enthusiastically in planting saplings around the school campus. The drive served as a meaningful reminder of the importance of trees in maintaining ecological balance and combating climate change.
The event concluded with a pledge from students to protect and care for the trees they planted and to spread the message of environmental responsibility.
