“Exploring Beyond the Stars – A Journey Through the Cosmos”
In an exciting and educational initiative, Ryan International School, Bannerghatta conducted an in-house Mystery Dome Planetarium and Virtual Reality (VR) Show for students across various grades. The event was designed to ignite curiosity and provide an immersive learning experience about space, astronomy, and the wonders of the universe.
The Mystery Dome Planetarium, set up within the school premises, offered students a captivating 360-degree view of the night sky. Inside the dome, students experienced realistic projections of stars, planets, constellations, and celestial events, bringing textbook concepts vividly to life. The interactive session helped them understand topics such as the solar system, space missions, and cosmic phenomena in an engaging and memorable way.
Adding to the excitement, the VR Show allowed students to virtually travel through space—walking on the moon, exploring Mars, and witnessing spacecraft journeys firsthand. The immersive technology gave them a sense of wonder and inspired many to dream about careers in science, space research, and technology.
Teachers and facilitators guided students throughout the sessions, ensuring that the experience was both educational and enjoyable. The event successfully blended learning with innovation, aligning with the school’s vision of providing experiential learning opportunities that nurture scientific temper and creativity.
