St. Joseph’s HIGH School-CBSE Panvel celebrated Republic Day with great patriotic passion. The programme commenced with the ceremonial flag hoisting by the chief guest, Mr. Shyam Shinde, Senior Police Inspector and singing of the NationalAnthem followed by a spectacular march-past by the various Squads.The Cultural programme began by seeking the blessings of GOD ALMIGHTY through the medium of Lord’s Prayer, Bible Reading, Special Prayer followed by Praise and Worship. As per RYAN tradition the guests were welcomed with potted plants, welcome speech in various languages followed by welcome song and dance. Each heart was filled with patriotic pride on hearing the patriotic speech in different languages. The audiences were awestruck by the formation of the human pyramid performed by the students. Dance performances by students on patriotic songs enthralled the audiences. The splendid folk dance performance by the students of Secondary captivated the audience. Children were awarded in various categories for their exceptional performance. The programme ended with the closing chorus followed by the Vote of thanks. As per the vision of our Chairman Sir, “Each One Plant One”, the guests participated in Tree plantation.
