Montessori Annual Sports Day Finale of St. Joseph’s High School, CBSE Panvel was organised on 11 th Jan. 2020. The aim behind the event was to inculcate the spirit of Sportsmanship and fondness for sports in children. The day was filled with fun, laughter, energy and delight as around 110 students participated in the event under the eager eyes of parents. The event began with the Lord’s Prayer, followed by Bible Reading, Special prayer by the tiny tots of Montessori-III adding a serene aura to the occasion. The event continued with passing of sports fire torch followed by March Past by the little council members and the Toy Band in the rear enthralled the audience. There were various events including “honey bee race”, each drop count”, “hopping on the shapes”. The parents enjoyed the student’s performances and praised the efforts put by the teachers. Different games were organised for the parents as well such as “iski topi uske sar”, “balancing the balloon “etc. All the winners were awarded. The event concluded with the prize distribution ceremony. The principal of the school, Mrs. Kalpana Dwivedi thanked the parents and appreciated their support and encouragement that made the event a grand success.
