St. Joseph’s High School (CBSE), Panvel celebrated Marathi Diwas on 27th February, 2019 with great fervor. Special assembly in Marathi was conducted to mark the day. The assembly commenced with the Lord’s Prayer, Bible reading and Prayer. Students sang and danced to the melodious tune of the Prayer songs with reverence. A Speech was delivered to emphasize the importance of the day. It was a sight to behold when students in their traditional attire danced to the tune of Marathi songs to showcase the rich culture of Maharashtra. Students of the Secondary Section participated in the various categories of poem and choral recitation in Marathi. Principal Mrs. Kalpana Dwivedi gave away the Ryan award to the students from Std. V to IX
