Children’s Day

St. Joseph’s High School – CBSE Panvel, celebrated Children’s Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on 14 th Nov. 2019. The entrance and Montessori Section was decorated with colourful balloons. Students were warmly welcomed by teachers and office staff. As this special day is dedicated to the children, a special assembly was conducted for the students of all sections. The assembly began with the Lord’s Prayer, followed by the holy words from the Bible, and Special Prayer. The school reverberated with prayer songs and dance performed by the teachers. An entertaining and thought provoking skit was performed by the secondary teachers to create awareness against the use of plastic. All the students enjoyed the performance to the fullest and reiterated the message unanimously “Say No to Plastic”. An immensely motivating and inspiring message from our Visionary Chairman Sir was read aloud by the President of the School Council, where he also conveyed his blessings through his felicitous words. Together students sang the School Anthem followed by the National Anthem. Primary teachers performed orchestra and a skit on the value of books. Montessori teachers performed comedy skits and dance. The biggest attraction of the day was tiny tots dressed in traditional attire walking on the ramp. A tattoo corner was set up for the students. Different games and competitions were held for all the sections. Teachers wished the students and were given cake and handmade cards by the teachers. Chocolates were distributed to all the students on behalf of management.
