Plastic pollution is a global problem. Plastic pollution can alter habitats and natural processes, reducing ecosystems’ ability to adapt to climate change and directly affecting millions of people’s livelihoods, food production capabilities, and social well-being. In a bid to join hands with the United Nations Environment Programme to end plastic pollution, the Ryanites along with the Zila Parishad students prepared paper bags and gifted them to the special guests of ZP School along with stationery items. The students were apprised of the need to avoid using plastic items to keep the environment safe and healthy.
