Community service in schools refers to the practice of involving students in volunteer activities that benefit the local community. It is a way for students to actively engage with the community, learn about social issues, and develop a sense of social responsibility and empathy.
The community service initiatives for the academic session 2023-24 began with the thought of sensitising the students about the need for the promotion of literacy and education. The idea was to encourage and motivate the students of Zila Parishad to attain at least primary education. With this end in view, the Ryanites were explained the importance of education through a presentation and interactive session, and the ways to promote it. The students got the stationery boxes as a gift for their counterparts and buddies at Zila Parishad.
