The colour green, which represents prosperity and fertility, was celebrated by the Montessori kids of Ryan International School, Dombivli, as Green Day on July 24, 2023. Children were taught about the importance of colour green. Bubbling with enthusiasm in their astonishing green costumes, the little ones created a pleasant, harmonious, and refreshing aura.
Many activities pertaining to the colour green were organised for the kids. Montessori I students enjoyed the Green Day activity by making an alligator. These students also enthusiastically took part in the drawing competition by making a green tree using finger prints. Montessori II students were more than anxious for the drawing competition. Students made flower gardens using fingerprint impressions. They also exhibited their creativity by making a frog using paper bags. Montessori III students made everyone say "Wow!" as they enthusiastically participated in the tree-making competition. Students made the tree by tearing green paper and using brown crayons. It was a fun-filled learning day for the students.
