The environment plays an important role in healthy living and the existence of life on planet Earth. Earth is a home for different living species, and we are all dependent on the environment for food, air, water, and other needs. Therefore, it is important for every individual to save and protect our environment. With this thought in mind, Environment Week was observed at RISD from July 1–7, 2023. The students were apprised about the importance of the environment in school assemblies, and the plantation song in three languages was sung daily. As a culmination of the week, a fancy dress competition was organised for the Montessori section on 7 July 2023 with the theme "The Creative Green Brigade." The tiny tots conveyed the message of a green environment well through the competition.
