Republic Day

St. Xavier’s High School, Raipur celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India on 26th January with great enthusiasm, dignity, and patriotic spirit. The occasion was marked to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution and to instill a sense of unity, discipline, and national pride among the students.

The celebration was graced by the presence of the honourable, Mr. Himanshu Agarwal and Mr. Aditya Nath Jha, whose presence added honor and significance to the event. The programme commenced with the grand unfurling of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem, filling the entire campus with a sense of pride and reverence for the nation.

A well-disciplined march past by the students showcased unity, coordination, and respect for the Tricolour. This was followed by a series of impressive cultural and physical performances. Students presented a football dance, reflecting teamwork and energy, while the umbrella drill dance mesmerized the audience with its synchronization and creativity. Each performance conveyed the values of discipline, harmony, and patriotism.

The Chief Guests addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of constitutional values, responsible citizenship, and collective efforts in building a strong and progressive nation. Their motivating words inspired the students to contribute positively to society and uphold the ideals of the Constitution.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of the management, teachers, students, and staff for making the celebration a grand success. The Republic Day celebration proved to be a memorable and enriching experience, leaving a lasting impression of patriotism and national responsibility in the hearts of all present.
