Republic Day Celebration

Date : 26 January, 2020

In the year 2020, we celebrated the 71st Republic Day, on 26th January, at the school premises of Ryan International School, Chembur. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity and brotherhood. The programme began at 8.30 am, where all the students, management members, Principal, Teachers, Staffs and the Guest members assembled on the school ground for hoisting of the Indian National flag by the chief guest. The National flag was unfurled and the National Anthem echoed in the entire campus. After the anthem, the students of different houses as well as different squads marched in their uniform rhythmically to the beats played by the school band, followed by the plantation song. As per Ryan tradition the program started by evoking the blessing of the Almighty with the Lord’s prayer, followed by Bible reading and the special prayer by Grade V, VI, VII students. This was followed by the prayer-song and dance, and then a welcome speech was delivered in different languages by grade V, VI and VII students. Our students of Grade V presented the welcome song and dance. The programme was followed by felicitation given by Council members, Patriotic song sung by Grade VIII students, Aerobics performed by R.G.S students, a dance performed by Theatre Festival participants and Lezim by our Sports Students. Students who won various competitions on National and International Level were felicitated for their achievements. At the end of the programme, Vote of thanks was delivered in Hindi and English by the students of Grade VII followed by a closing chorus.
