Adventure sports are not only fun but also help inculcate several skills in children like enhancing gross and fine motor coordination; team spirit, risk taking and collaboration. To give one such exposure to the students Ryan International School, Montessori Preet Vihar organised a Day Adventure Camp in association with ‘Climb Up Adventures under the supervision of teachers and professional instructors on 8th December for the students of classes Montessori to Class 2 as per their age groups. The camp commenced with the students being briefed about the precautions to be taken during the camp and were then divided into smaller groups with an instructor and teachers. The participants were exposed to various adventure activities like – the Swinging Bridge, Hippity Hop Race, Laser Beam, Commando Crawl, Hop Scotch, Hamster Wheel, Commando Net, Wall Climbing, Tent Pitching and other energizing games. The students arrived bubbling with excitement as they headed to participate in activities and were delighted when they completed each task. The camp concluded with unforgettable memories and helped the kids to develop basic athletic skills such as balancing coordination and to enjoy the adventures. The amount of energy and enthusiasm exhibited by students was enthralling. Overall, it was a joyful and enriching experience.
