About
A brilliant academician, Dr. Arundhati Bhattacharjee was born and brought up in the serene city of Shillong and studied in the prestigious North Eastern Hill University. She was a rank holder in both B.Sc and M.Sc. After completing her PhD in Life Sciences, her ardour for academics drove her into the teaching profession in college. Her deep rooted belief and passion for teaching and developing young kids to become successful individuals with high morals made her join school education.
She has been associated with the Ryan International Group since 2011 and has been the Principal of the school for more than 5 years now. She believes that nurturing imagination and creativity of young children is of utmost importance and is the seed of success. She believes education is the most powerful tool which has the capability to change the society as a whole. The aim is to provide a holistic approach to shape the overall personality of a student imbibed in a modern outlook on one hand and traditional values on the other alongside concern for community and environment. She aims to develop students into role models and great human beings and at the same time successful global citizens.
Under her guidance everyone at Ryan International School, Bolpur makes ardent efforts to foster a spirit of partnership between students, teachers and parents striving to create a milieu that creates and sustains excellence. It is believed that imagination of a child is an important facet that cannot be neglected but needs to be nurtured so that the creativity of the child is maintained and developed.
