Investiture Ceremony

Ryan Christian Schools – ICSE, Borivli (W) believes that familiarizing school children with the skills of real-politic can help them to be capable future leaders of the country. And it is with this intent that they have introduced a School Parliament where students assume powers and carry out the duties of Cabinet Minister. The Chairman Dr. A.F.Pinto of Ryan International Group of Institutions initiated this idea. These school parliament usually consist of students from classes 6th to 8th who are elected as cabinet ministers of 9 different portfolios. The cabinet ministers are responsible for all the duties within the boundaries of their portfolios and are also in charge of maintaining discipline and decorum in school. These ministers are selected by election through secret ballot much like the election in the real world. The students of Primary and Pre-primary are also given the leadership duties as Head boy / Head girl, Captain, and Vice-Captain of the four houses red, blue, green, and yellow as a preparatory ground for future leadership.
