Tree Plantation Ceremony held at Our School on 10-9-2025.
In line with the vision of our esteemed Founder Chairman, Dr. A. F. Pinto, our school organized a Tree Plantation Program with the active involvement of the Student Council Members. This initiative was a step towards creating a greener and healthier environment, echoing Chairman Sir, Dr. A.F. Pinto’s lifelong dream of nurturing young minds who are sensitive to nature and committed to sustainable living.
The event began with invoking the Lord’s Prayer, followed by the scripture reading, and a soulful Tree Plantation Song presented by the school choir group, which set a serene and meaningful tone for the program.
The Student council members from Montessori, Primary and Secondary section enthusiastically took part in planting Ashoka trees within the school campus. The Ashoka tree, considered a symbol of peace, prosperity, and harmony, also holds cultural and environmental significance. Known for its evergreen nature, dense foliage, and ability to purify the air, the Ashoka tree not only adds beauty to the surroundings but also contributes to reducing pollution and providing shade.
This plantation drive was not just an event, but a reminder to all students about their responsibility in preserving the environment. By planting Ashoka trees, the council members pledged to continue spreading awareness about eco-friendly practices and to carry forward the green vision of Founder Chairman, Dr. A. F. Pinto.
The program concluded with a collective commitment to protect and nurture the saplings, ensuring that they grow into strong trees that will benefit generations to come.
