Basant Panchami marks the official end of winter season and beginning of the spring season. The festival of Basant Panchami is celebrated all over the country. The significance of the color "Yellow" is immense on this day as it signifies the arrival of spring and is associated with the feelings of positivity in life and nature. Shades of sunny yellow brightened up the ambience of the school as Basant Panchami was celebrated at Ryan International School Mohali. Both, the students and the teachers of Montessori classes had come dressed in yellow attires. Students had brought home cooked traditional yellow coloured dishes in their tiffin. A kite decoration competition was also held for the students.
