In an effort to promote environmental awareness and responsibility among students, Ryan International School, Bannerghatta organized a Waste Recycling Drive on the school campus. The Dry Waste Collection and Exchange Drive, conducted in association with ITC WOW, aimed to encourage students to take responsibility for the environment by collecting and handing over recyclable materials and to learn about the importance of waste segregation and recycling to protect our planet for future generations.
Students enthusiastically participated by bringing recyclable materials such as paper, plastic, and metal items from their homes. The collected waste was systematically sorted and handed over to authorized recycling agencies. The highest waste being donated amount up to a whopping 45 Kgs by Mst. Karthikeyaa of Grade VIII. Teachers guided the students on how small, consistent actions can make a big difference in conserving natural resources. Through this drive, the Ryanites demonstrated their commitment to creating a cleaner and greener environment.
