“Safety First – Awareness is the Key to Responsible Living”
With an aim to promote road safety awareness and responsible citizenship among students, Ryan International School, Bannerghatta organized an Interactive Session with the Traffic Police Department. The session was designed to educate students about traffic rules, safety measures, and the importance of discipline on the road.
The session was led by esteemed officers from the Bannerghatta Traffic Police Department, who interacted with the students and shared valuable insights on road safety, pedestrian rules, the significance of traffic signals, and the dangers of rash driving and mobile phone use while driving.
Students actively participated in the discussion, answering questions and sharing their observations about traffic behavior in daily life. The officers also demonstrated the correct use of helmets, seat belts, and zebra crossings, emphasizing that following traffic rules ensures not only one’s own safety but also that of others.
The interactive talk was both informative and inspiring, encouraging students to become responsible road users and ambassadors of road safety within their communities.
The event concluded with the powerful message that “Road safety is a shared responsibility — together, we can make every journey safe.”
