“A Bond of Love, Care, and Protection”
To celebrate the beautiful bond of love and protection between brothers and sisters, Ryan International School, Bannerghatta organized a joyful Rakhi-Making Activity on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. The event aimed to instill cultural values, creativity, and the spirit of togetherness among students.
Students enthusiastically participated in the activity, using colorful threads, beads, sequins, and decorative materials to design beautiful handmade rakhis. The classrooms buzzed with excitement as young Ryanites showcased their artistic talents and expressed their affection through their creative work.
Teachers guided the students, explaining the significance of Raksha Bandhan — a festival that symbolizes the eternal bond of trust, love, and responsibility between siblings. The activity encouraged students to appreciate Indian traditions while developing fine motor skills and aesthetic sense.
