With great enthusiasm and national pride, Ryan International School, Bannerghatta (ICSE) celebrated India’s 79th Independence Day with a vibrant and patriotic special assembly. The event aimed to honour the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and to remind students of their role in building a strong and progressive nation.
The celebration began with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the soulful rendition of the National Anthem, filling the campus with pride and patriotism. Students presented inspiring speeches, patriotic songs, and energetic dance performances, showcasing India’s unity in diversity and rich cultural heritage.
A special highlight of the event was a thematic skit depicting India’s struggle for freedom and the contributions of great leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Subhas Chandra Bose, and Bhagat Singh. The performances stirred a deep sense of respect and admiration among the audience.
The Principal addressed the gathering, urging students to uphold the values of freedom, peace, and responsibility in their lives. She emphasized that true independence lies in educating minds, empowering youth, and serving the nation with integrity.
The program concluded with a collective pledge to contribute towards the nation’s growth and to keep the spirit of patriotism alive in every heart.
